Channeling your inner Audrey Hepburn
I bought a black a dress on sale at Forever 21. It was originally priced at 29 USD and had a 15% discount. Oh god, there's nothing I love more than a bargain. Now, what I loved about it was that it looks a lot more expensive than it is and also cherished the feeling of being transported back to the 50s for less than 30 dollars. I felt like I could finally channel my inner Audrey Hepburn in "Sabrina" (and who doesn't love that movie?!).
I would suggest browsing through Forever 21 (H&M or whichever store you like) and finding dresses that look a somewhat vintage, I can assure you I always find one- especially since crop tops haven't really been my thing for a long time.
I think this dress worked miracles for a night out and I would consider wearing it to the opera, ballet, engagement dinner or a simple night out.
So, ladies, it doesn't have to be expensive to look good. You just have to look a little harder through the sale section - even though I know it's not always appealing to go through piles of clothes that are falling off the clothes rack, trust me...you won't regret it!
